	Hallo, ik bezit een constructam coral (de grote dus) reeds gedurende 20 jaar, ik heb hem tweedehands gekocht als hij 7 jaar oud was, de bodem was ROT (heb ik nadien maar gezien) heb de bodem vernieuwd met BETONPLEX van 18 mm dik, is nu dus prima, heb de frigo later vervangen door een compressorfrigo want het rendement ging achteruit, 10 jaar geleden ben ik er iets eigenaardig mee tegengekomen, ik had er nieuwe (tubeless) banden laten opleggen en gedurende de reis naar zuid-Frankrijk, liep een band heel langzaam leeg, onderweg pompte ik af en toe bij en aangekomen op bestemming hebben ze in een bandencentrale er een binnenband ingezet, later bleek dat de veld binnenin in het midden gescheurd was daar waar de 2 delen v/d velg gelast waren, dat was even schrikken! Ik heb 2 nieuwe velgen gekocht in Kruibeke en nu is alles ok, deze zomer heb ik er in Frankrijk 2 nieuwe camionet-banden laten opleggen. De caravan rijdt prima, zeer stabiel, altijd zo geweest, maar ik heb nu toch een WESTFALIA antislingerkoppeling kunnen kopen in zeer mooie staat, alhoewel de caravan niet slingert stel ik me nu de vraag of ik deze zal installeren ja of nee, ik denk dat het alleen maar het comfort kan verbeteren, en wat doe je met deze antislinger, best uitschakelen als je van de autostrade op de gewone weg komt of aangeschakeld laten? Kraakt het dan niet te veel? Is er dan niet te veel sleet aan de ferodo's? Ik heb daar geen ervaring mee maar Nederlanders(en die hebben VEEL ervaring hierin) zeggen uitschakelen bij het verlaten v/d snelweg, bol v/d trekhaak DROOG(zelfs licht opschuren) of heel klein beetje kruipolie erop, graag jullie mening hierover, bedankt, Marc.

	Beste Marc, als ik u een goede raad mag geven zou ik deze koppeling in uw geval niet monteren en wel om de volgende redenen: Er is nooit geen enkel ander merk caravan op de markt geweest die zo vast op de weg lag als een Constructam. Dat is ten eerste zoals u wel weet te wijten aan de gewichtsmassa die voor het grootste gedeelte onder de gordellijn zit. Ten tweede staat de as bij een Constructam redelijk ver achter het middelpunt zodat slingeren zo goed als onmogelijk is. Dit kan technisch omdat de voorbouw door zijn afgeronde zijkanten en dakkap lichter is dan bij een ander merk. Ten derde wordt een Constructam in de luchtstroom centraal en stabiel gehouden door zijn unieke vorm waardoor hij als het ware aan de weg plakt. Verder is de evolutie van de disselsectie vanuit de jaren zestig steeds groeiende geweest naar een grotere lengte hetgeen de wegvastheid zeker ook bevorderdt. Bij een New Generation uit de jaren tachtig is deze lengte zelfs bijna anderhalve meter geworden en dit was bewust gedaan om die goeie veiligheidskwaliteiten van Constructam nog te versterken. Dus het plaatsen van deze koppeling is totaal overbodig en kan u technisch alleen maar problemen bezorgen. U moet dan namelijk altijd een vetvrije trekhaak hebben. Een keer vet aan de bol aan en de koppeling functioneert niet meer. Daarnaast zijn de bewegingsremmers in de koppeling onderhevig aan sleet en verglazing (uitharden) zodat deze reeds na een paar jaar vervangen moeten. Mijn advies luidt dus; niet plaatsen. Het enige waar u voor moet zorgen is dat u goede caravanbanden met de juiste bandendruk op uw Constructam heeft en dat de belading goed uitgebalanceerd is. dus de zwaarste dingen zo kort mogelijk bij en boven de as en de lichtere belading voor en achter. Daarom is in de meeste gevallen het aanrecht en de koelkast ook boven de assectie gesitueerd. Zorg verder dat u een kogeldruk heeft tussen 40 en 50 kg, niet minder maar ook niet meer. De band voor een Coral is best een orriginele hoge caravanband met een bandendruk van 2,5 bar tot 2,8 bar. Let verder op dat u geen caravanband koopt zoals die tegenwoordig tot 4,0 bar moeten zijn want daar is uw caravan te licht voor en gaat dan huppelen. De hoge band zorgt voor minder omwentelingen en loopt dus minder snel warm. Hopende u hiermee van dienst te zijn geweest. Vriendelijke groet, Jacky Broers

	Brève traduction dans les grandes lignes !!!... Question : J'ai un STABILISATEUR. Dois-je le mettre sur ma Constructam Coral ? Réponse : NON ! pour les raisons suivantes: -Il n'y a jamais eu de caravane mieux conçue qu'une Constructam pour tenir la route avec sécurité à grande vitesse. C'était la première optique des concepteurs, de par sa forme, et son centre de gravité extrêmement bas. -Les évolutions suivantes (jusqu'à la "New Generation" comprise) n'ont fait que confirmer cette optique, d'une façon ou d'une autre. Le placement de ce stabilisateur est donc inutile, et même "exagéré", et ne peut que générer des problèmes. Et le "conseil" des "connaisseurs" Hollandais n'est pas bon, n'en parlons même pas... La chose à laquelle vous devez aussi prêter attention est la correcte pression de vos pneus (2.5 à 2.8bar d'origine !), ainsi qu'un bon équilibre du chargement de la caravane: les poids lourds sur l'axe (d'où le fait que le frigo et l'évier se situent d'origine à cet endroit), les poids légers équilibrés entre l'avant et l'arrière, afin d'arriver à un poids de 40 à 50kg maximum sur votre flèche. 	He bien je ne suis, pas du tout de l'avis des anti- stab!! Ils n'ont surement jamais roulé à grande vitesse avec leur caravane. Sur la nôtre , non seulement il ya un Alco AKS 1300 mais en plus , et surtout et c'est pas du luxe, un Tunesi 330. Et là, pas d'histoire , la caravane ne bouge pas d'un pouce, même lorsque vous roulez à 140, ou vous trouvez à doubler un poids lourd et qu'un fourgon genre Vito vous double à plus grande vitesse encore . Non , ceux qui vous disent que les stab sont inutiles sur la Constructam sont des plaisantins qui ne dépassent pas le 100

	Bedankt(merçi) voor de reactie, inderdaad, het gaat er me vooral daar om dat de caravan een niet te onderschatten ruk krijgt telkens een camion(of een snelle camionnet, hoe snel gaan die tegenwoordig niet, niet te geloven!)je inhalen, iedere keer wordt de combinatie uit zijn balans gerukt, en ik weet wel dat dit zich snel hersteld maar toch, het is telkens toch weer even schrikken, a propos mijn cara is wel een COMET en geen Coral, ik ben mis geweest, je moet weten 6 m is toch al een sleep met ietwat lengte. Weet er iemand of ik nu best de antislingerkoppeling UITSCHAKEL bij het verlaten van de autostrade of niet, het is een Westfalia SSK 2 zo een met een loskomend hendeltje, kan er mij iemand zeggen of het huppelen over betonvoegen hiermee ook opgelost is? Bij mij gaat het er niet om 140 te kunnen rijden, want dat doe ik niet, maar alleen om met meer comfort en nog meer veiligheid te kunnen reizen. Om met een caravan meer dan 110 te rijden moet je volgens mij niet goed bewust zijn van de gevaren die er opduiken als er toch eens iets mis moest gaan en je de hele combinatie niet op tijd tot stilstand kan brengen, dan weet je niet waar je uitkomt, ik zweer het u, ik zag eens een klapband gebeuren aan een caravan vlak voor mij,een grote caravan van meer dan 5m opbouw, het trekkend voertuig was niet van de minste, een Nissan patrol, toch al niet mis, de hele combinatie ging van het rechtse vak al slingerend tot op het gras in de middenberm en kwam nadien terug naar het rechts vak en kon dan op de pechstrook eindelijk stoppen, gelukkig 'onderweg' van dit traject niemand geraakt, enorm geluk gehad, en dat ging als volgt: eerst de knal v/d klapband, bestuurder schrikt en gaat op de rem staan(mag je niet doen maar ja)door het feit dat het ene wiel door de klapband in no time op de velg rijdt, is er praktisch geen adhesie met de weg aan dit wiel, je remt krachtig om de boel zo snel mogelijk te stoppen, maar het ene wiel remt krachtig en het andere bijna niets(het metaal v/d velg zorgt voor mooi vuurspektakel) het gevolg is SCHAREN, en dat gebeurde hier ook, de caravan duwde het achterste van de zware jeep gewoon naar waar hij wou, de bestuurder stuurde tegen maar toch was het de caravan die besliste naar waar hij ging, het achterste van het trekkend voertuig kon alleen maar volgen zoals een hond met verlamde achterpoten. Er zijn blijkbaar een hoop mensen die denken als er een krachtige zware auto voorhangt dat er niets kan gebeuren en dat zij de situatie altijd in de hand hebben, ik zweer het u dat dat niet altijd waar is, OOK NIET MET EEN CONSTRUCTAM, laat u niets wijsmaken mensen sorry, meer rijden dan laat ons zeggen 110 km/u is onverantwoord, niet alleen voor uzelf maar ook voor de andere weggebruikers, ikzelf rij 100, relax voor mij en voor de auto, en ik laat de snellere (dikwijls Hollanders met een golfje)gerust voorbijgaan, no problem. Heeft er iemand ervaring met de fameuze TYRON RINGEN? Dat zijn ringen die binnenin de band geplaatst worden en die verhinderen dat de band eventueel van de velg gaat, zo blijft er altijd kontakt met de weg via het rubber, ik zou graag weten of dit inderdaad goed werkt of overdreven wordt, graag een reactie, en laat het ons een beetje veilig houden, Marc.
